I NEED some Mauro Peruccheti in the house!!! I saw his work ages a go at the Halcyon Gallery in Mayfair, it caught my eye from across the street... His work is a mixture of minimalism and pop - a lot of it shiny, colourful and witty with an undertone of the macabre. As a pop artist for the 21st Century, his meticulously crafted, richly coloured works incorporate familiar icons of today’s culture, engaging with themes such as war, cloning, fashion, drugs and the media.
His sculptures are made from various materials including Chromed steel, aluminim, resin, glass, and Swarovski crystals.
