My best mates, design duo Fe & Jin Capalbo aka Komakino, presented their innovative and conceptual menswear for the second time this London Fashion Week. Inspired by iconoclasm, they have deconstructed religious, political and classic images and recomposed them into their new collection of refined tailoring and deconstruction using leathers, printed panels and fabric manipulations.
They have fused military, neo-classical and street details like decomposed rubber couture with the help of latex designer Atsuko Kudo. They have also designed jewellery pieces, manufactured by Dog State, and partnered with accessories designer Keko Hainswheeler; adding organic metal headpieces to their minimal collection.
